On Monday, September 9th, Gucci Mane let out the big guns and started an all-out Twitter war with what seems to be everyone! Waka Flocka Flame and Nicki Minaj seemed to be the main targets of his attacks, but he also threw Tyga’s girlfriend and baby mama Blac Chyna under the bus, along with his girlfriend, Keyshia Dior, Buffy The Body, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, Monica and even Taraji P. Henson! Either he’s delusional and bitter or he really gets it in. I’m going with the former.
Gucci Mane’s rant was ridiculous, ludicrous, ratchet, packed with grammatical mistakes and hostility, and totally entertaining. From attacking Drake, to Jeezy, to even T.I. and his longtime love Tiny, Gucci got his hands dirty and has easily become the most hated man in the industry. Because I love you good readers, I’ll give a quick recap and spare you reporting to Twitter to figure out exactly what Gucci’s problem was, amid the terrible grammar.
It seems that Gucci’s world came crashing down and he attempted to bring everyone down with him while trying to break up some happy homes in the process. By going in on someone at Atlantic Records, it seems that he has maybe been dropped from the company. Photos that were once on his girlfriend Keyshia Dior’s Instagram page of the two coupled up and spoiling one another with affection and lavish gifts have since been deleted which also leads us to believe that she may have dropped him as well.
He decided to take his frustrations out on what appears to be random artists and entertainers by sending out a series of insulting tweets. He claims to have had sex or received sexual favors from all of the women mentioned above while they were in relationships with other men. However, the fun really began when label mates Nicki Minaj and Tyga began responding to the rapper tag team style. Tyga consistently referred to the rapper as “Burberry” in a series of tweets and after Gucci took to Twitter and accused Nicki of shacking up in cheap motels for rendezvous with him, Nicki tweeted saying: “May God strike me dead if I ever had sex with that man.” She also called him names like “Bubba Gump” and “crackhead.” Then, to add insult to the injury, Nicki posted a screenshot of her text message conversation with Tyga broadcasting her lack of interest to collaborate on a track with Gucci last week. Well, looks like Gucci has bit off more than his gold caps can chew...
