I must say… instead of constantly seeing remakes and the same stories being brought to the silver screen I am ready to see some original material. In any case I will be supporting Hailee Steinfeld in her new role as Juliet in the adaptation of the Shakespeare’s most famous play. She looked fantastic in a Louis Vuitton black and white cap sleeved dress. Keeping it young and fresh, she paired the dress with a pair of knee high socks and sparkly pumps.

‘Mad Men’ actress and mini-fashionista Kiernan Shipka attended the 2013 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party held in LA. Kiernan wore an Emporio Armani design that consisted of a black ¾ length top and a pair of paisley printed iridescent pants. A red Swarovski-crystal purse and black Armani sandals finished off her look. Does it get any better than this at 13? That’s a rhetorical question because I’m certain it doesn’t. You’re killing em’ Kiernan.

I have to say ‘Gravity’ is my favorite film of the year so far. Sandra Bullock had her greatest performance yet as Dr. Ryan Stone. Say what you will about the technicalities of zero gravity and the lack of hair follicle movement (side-eye to the critics...)…it was a beautiful story about the human experience. Sandra Bullock looked like a doll in the Vionnet Resort mini dress. The navy knitted design featured a mesh yoke and orange pleated skirt. Yes we saw a version of this exact design on Zhang Ziyi a few months back. Sandra opted for a black and white sandal which took away from the dress a little bit but when you’re Sandra Bullock…who cares? Best Actress Nominee anyone?

I must give a shoutout to Emilio Pucci who is planning on a brand expansion towards the end of 2014. Pucci designs over the years have caught the eye of Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy Onassis and more. Nowadays you will find Pucci designs as everyday and/or concert looks on Rihanna, Rita Ora, and Beyonce. I appreciate how Pucci takes so many things into consideration in the designs of the clothing. An example of the genius of Pucci can be seen on this look worn by model Joan Smalls. Everything about the direction of this collection is a yes.

Angie Harmon was spotted at Paris Fashion Week‘s Elie Saab show. She wore a lovely purple and white dress from the designer collection. She finished off her look with a black and white goat-hair clutch.

Chinese actress Yao Xingtong was spotted front row at the Elie Saab show. She was wearing a forest green Elie Saab design. From the 3/4 sleeve dress design to the brown and gold clutch, this outfit was just everything.

Angelababy wore a refreshingly different Dior design to the Christian Dior show. She wore a powdery pink zip up dress that she unzipped on top and bottom to reveal a pair of black shorts. White pumps, oversized sunglasses and a pink/white gradient clutch finished off her fab look.

In case you didn’t get the memo, ‘Scandal’ is back and Thursday can mean something again. Too dramatic? Star of the show Kerry Washington has been making the media rounds amidst pregnancy rumors looking fabulous as ever. To her ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ appearance, she wore a flowy Prabal Gurung black-and-white floral print design that featured black billowy sleeves. Kerry looked chic at the PaleyFest’s ‘She’s Making Media’ panel in a white J. Mendel design. The dress featured bare shoulders and had a cool asymmetrical horizontal sheer stripe pattern that added a sassy kick. Finally to the premiere of her hit series ‘Scandal,’ she wore a custom Prada ball gown. The vintage looking blue ruffled gown reminds me of Scarlett O’Hara…since Hollywood loves to recycle films methinks a ‘Gone with the Wind’ remake is due soon. Anyone with me?
