Hunger Games: Catching Fire is here....well that and "This Week in Fashion"

Last year’s winner of ‘The Voice,’ Danielle Bradbery was spotted on the red carpet for the 47th annual CMA Awards in Nashville. She shined like a star in a BCBG Max Azria ‘Aida’ gown. The gown was sleeveless and two toned and featured a bit of lace paneling. Her long tresses were swept to the side and a white manicure finished off her look.

Here she is again…Lupita Nyong’o. She looked great on the red carpet in attendance of the Museum of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit: A Tribute to Tilda Swinton. Lupita wore a Chanel Couture dress that featured a boxy metallic pattern.  The high neck of the dress peaked over a beautiful grey blazer.

Bianca Lawson, the actress from Teen Wolf, looked chic at the TV Guide’s Hot 100 List Party.  She chose a tuxedo romper that was designed by Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. She finished off the crème and black romper with a pair of black pumps and a black clutch.

Lupita Nyong’o was also seen on the red carpet of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards. Lupita wore a Prabal Gurung Resort design. The design was a black tuxedo wrap dress that was pulled together with a satin band at the hip. A pair of white Christian Louboutin Batignolles python pumps, and a black Charlotte Olympia ‘Domino’ Pandora clutch finished off her look.

Mini fashionista Kiernan Shipka was spotted on the red carpet of the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere wearing a Miu Miu skirt and shirt set that she styled with Jimmy Choo pumps.

A round of applause for Miss Tay Tay who brought it on the pink carpet for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Taylor Swift wore a long-sleeved Zuhair Murad floral print sequined dress.Drawing upon the stem coloring of the floral print pattern Taylor opted for a pair of green Dolce & Gabbana strappy heels. Her look was completed with some Lorraine Schwartz frosting.

Gwen Stefani was seen out and about glowing in the cutest maternity outfit I’ve seen to date.  It looks like she built her outfit around a pair of blazing red L.A.M.B. Patent Lace Up Platform Boots. She cuffed her Paige Skyline Maternity jeans and wore a grey tee under her Joe’s Jeans Hunter and Navy Blue Plaid Bomber Jacket. Gwen looked casual comfortable and fabulous.

Miss USA 2008, Rachel Smith, attended the 47th annual CMA Awards looking amazing in red. She wore a red lace dress is by designer Tadashi Shoji. I love lace and I love this dress.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Finally after much anticipation, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is finally out. I had a chance to see the film prior to its release and believe it was worth the wait. Too bad I don’t feel like waiting anymore so come on with the next installment please and thank you. I have to say I was “feeling some type of way” about Liam and his character this time around after a summer full of Miley airing out her feelings towards him and their very public breakup. Though he looked dapper and svelte on the red carpet...I can’t help that I hear ‘Wrecking Ball’ everytime I see him. Side-eye for now. I was pleasantly surprised by a few looks on the red carpet of the film’s premiere.

Elizabeth Banks, I see you. Miss Banks looked amazing in a tangerine colored Versace gown. The strapless gown featured some rays of gold detailing that wrapped around the hip giving the design even more dimension.

Cute overload moment, Hunger Games star Lenny Kravitz walked the red carpet with his daughter Zoe while holding hands. Papa Kravitz opted for a head to toe Saint Laurent look that featured an unbuttoned dark shirt underneath a stripped blazer. Lenny kept it rockstar with leather pants and space-aged metallic shoes. Zoe Kravitz went minimal and chic in a black Balenciaga design. This off the shoulder design features an assymetric fold that moves from shoulder to hemline. Minimal accesories and open toes black sandals completed her look.

Sadly, I have yet to be wowed by any of friend-in-my-head Jennifer Lawrence’s looks. More importantly, I’m always wowed when Jennifer speaks so honestly and directly about body image in Hollywood and the importance of showing young girls the importance of a strong and healthy body image. She has been very outspoken about her insistance of her character in the ‘Hunger Games’ films, Katniss, from appearing too thin.
