Whispers In The Wind - (A Little Dirt for the Day)
Just when everybody thought it was super cool to live in 3rd Ward again, people began buying old dilapidated houses to tear down and build their dream homes, and everybody was dying to have a 77004 zip code. Then, in comes some old school Third Ward activities, shooting, stabbing and killing. Yep, thought it (crime) was gone just because the highrises were built?, just because they put high dollar amounts on the new condominiums and apartments around Almeda? Well, I'm here to say, nothing about the hood is gonna ever change as long as you have a gross amount of homelessness, hopelessness and poverty, all in one concentrated amount.
So don't get too comfortable my Third Ward friends; stay alert, keep your doors locked and eyes wide open! Sincerely, a Third Ward girl.
Stay Fabulous and Safe,
