Have you ever been totally out of control? Or better yet, has your life seemed so full of twists and turns, with people coming and going and events happening so quickly, you don’t know if you’re coming or going? Frightening isn’t it, particularly, if it includes pain and anguish, death and tragedy, a broken heart or perhaps a broken spirit?
I’ve come to believe that it’s the little things, the simple things about being a Christian that, when studied, make the most sense and are actually the most profound things about the realities of life. Rather than being as complicated as most of us would make them, it is important to know that our God is not a God of confusion.
In rereading a book given to me by a close friend, a question was posed that I think defines the role of any want-to- be Christian. Regardless of when, where or why you found religion, what are you doing about it now?
