If you missed the holiday bash over at Grooves, Thanksgiving Eve, you missed a great party!

What a great occasion it was for old friends to take a break from their hectic schedules and come together to celebrate the holiday season, and make new friends along the way. Hosts for the nights event; Kelvin “KJ” Johnson and Melvin “P-Diddy” Preston along with their beautiful wives Ava Malone-Johnson and Denise Preston, did it once again.

Nothing kicks off the fall season like the St Mary’s Annual Church Bazaar! People come from far and near to get a taste of some good ole Creole food. There was plenty of cooking and eating that weekend.

The Hilton Americas Hotel was the venue recently as the Helping a Hero.Org , a 501(c )(3), that restores lives and builds homes for severely wounded veterans injured in Iraq and Afghanistan; celebrated and showcased the Wounded Hero Honorees.
