Another Headache?

Have you ever wondered why headaches happen? Have you ever even pondered on what type of headache you may be having…or do you just decide that these nagging “progress stoppers” are just a part of life and just live with them? Sometimes we do just get so used to them being a normal part of life that we fail to realize that with a little proactive planning, there is something that can be done to manage and even prevent them.

Donna Brazile and Karen Carter RichardsCongratulations to the 2011 Top Women of Houston. "I want to salute the Top 25 Women of Houston on the discipline, dilligence, and success.  Congratulations from your family at the Houston Forward Times!"

Karen Carter Richards, Jolanda Jones and Hazey RamseyI would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Larry Green, for tirelessly inviting me to his various events, I finally got to one. Even though Saturday night’s gala fell on the exact night as my 15 year old’s homecoming dance, I managed to swing it. The ballroom at the Hilton Americas Hotel was the backdrop for the HoustonWorks USA Biennial Black Tie Gala, “Putting Houstonians Back to Work.” The room was beautifully decorated with white organza flowers, tables topped with floating candles, glittered branches and textured fabrics.
